Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter & actress born in Sarajevo, raised in Germany and New York City - Classically trained in piano and opera singing, she taught herself guitar, experiencing Cabaret, Balkan and German folk music, Gregorian chants and gospel. She draws musical inspiration from Scott Walker, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and Van den Budenmayer, is influenced by poets Ingeborg Bachmann, Anna Akhmatova and Sylvia Plath. Her songs are an original symbiosis of lyrics and music, ranging from dramatic soul, powerful blues to rebellious rock.
